At #Ploughing2023 today, I told Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue that his Department must extend the slurry spreading date beyond September 30th due to poor ground conditions across the country, and I impressed upon him the need to get payments out as soon as possible and to revisit the nitrates derogation.
